Companies that are ready for Thanks giving and Christmas make a large majority of their #profits from these holidays. Some of their business rely entirely on holidays, and by reaching out to their #visitors for sales and#promotions. You don’t have to be a company that sells festive #decorationsto employ some of these tactics on your very own #fanpage.
With the help of a few of our partners, we had the opportunity to examine hundreds of #fanpages, and see what they were doing for their holiday#promotion.
1.) Decorate
This is the easiest and most enjoyable part of getting #your visitors thinking about the Holidays. Change your #coverimages, upload photos, and show your holiday spirit. When your #visitors see you are decorating for #Christmas, for example, it might stick in their mind that your latest #product you posted would look perfectly in their friend’s living room. Imagine that!
Decorating your #Facebook fan page is as easy as changing your cover image. There are plenty to choose from on #Google Images or on Wallpaper#websites.
2.) Give Yourself Time
By starting your #promotional efforts early on, your visitors are less likely to have already purchased gifts for loved ones. Most #people like getting their#shopping done with early, and by offering them a holiday promotion with plenty of time, you are able to #achieve a maximum amount of #sales.
3.) Adhere to Facebook’s #Guidelines
Stay out of #trouble by following Facebook’s promotion Guidelines. Don’t require #people to “#Like” your page to vote, you must notify #winners of any#contest via direct #mail as well as #publicly on Facebook, and don’t include Call-to-action’s on your #Facebooktimeline.
